When I started to travel I was 19, and I didn't have more than 100 USD per month. However, I had a clear goal in my mind: I wanted to travel the world, and also to visit different hospital as a professional in order to know how medical system functions in each country. I made sure to be the best student through all my studies, in order to get scholarships and be able to travel, attend projects, and study. I worked at University as an assistant, but I also cleaned toilets. It's not important what you do as long as you have a goal, you are not hurting anyone intentionally, and you maintain a kind heart.

I am not inspired by people have ordinary life "house-work-sleep" but with people who choose to be different, who share kindness with others, and who don't care about shallow materialistic things.

I am Luis Hernán Pérez, Chilean, born and raised in Rancagua, 1 hour from Santiago (the capital), in the center of Chile. I am a dentist, specialist in Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery and I am also an expert in wines with international level 3 certification from the WSET. I love good food, good wine, Anicita and cooking. My passions are traveling, listening to Rock, going to concerts, getting together with family, friends and sharing time with my girlfriend.

I have always believed that in order to comment or give an opinion about something, you have to have the knowledge or the practice about it. The same with food… I like going to restaurants and evaluating the food and the service, but to do so I think it is necessary that I know how to cook and serve people.

I like going out and exploring the world, and what better way to meet people and new cultures than through their food. I also love going to the nature, animals and exploring different cities.
